New version of Accounting module

Today we are releasing a major update of the accounting module. We have now been working on retrieval, approval and posting for almost two years and are very happy with both the result and feedback we get from our customers, so this will be the last major update for a while. We will now shift focus to different parts of the accounting module, first up will be the banking module. Stay tuned for updates this fall. Have a great summer, see you in august.

 

Retrieval

  • Removed the workaround for the IE11 bug
  • Account number is now sorted low to high in both debit and credit
  • Added the document type “Outgoing invoice”

 

Approval

  • Restructuring of the layout to make it easier to navigate. Added tabs for log (with approval list) and posting (with properties)
  • Added ability to hide both attachment information and properties
  • When navigating in posting (ENTER or TAB)  a new line will automatically be added when reaching the end of the current
  • Added the hotkey END for abruptly finishing the current posting line and adding a new, focus will automatically be set to debit or credit based on the balance of the posting
  • Added properties that shows extended information related to the currently selected posting line
  • Added a new (and much better) way of adding dimensions to a posting line
  • Added search when forwarding
  • The layout will “remember” how you set up the user interface the last time you used it
  • Added an export to Excel button

 

Posting

  • Added properties that show extended information related to the currently selected posting line
  • The right hand view automatically switches between properties, bundles and error messages
  • Added a new (and much better) way of adding dimensions to a posting line
  • Error messages are automatically cleared when selecting a new bundle
  • When using CTRL+ENTER to add a new line OCR and Bank account are automatically copied
  • Several minor bugfixes

 

Settings

  • Changed the layout of all settings to make them more consistent
  • Added a feature “Next entry number” under “Entry series” to make it possible to manually select the next number in an entry series
  • Rules, added ability to add several approvers to a project or department
  • Added ability to delete a fiscal year, will only work if the year is empty
  • Added ability to add fiscal periods to a fiscal year

 

Reports

  • New version of  “Search voucher”
  • New version of “Aged ledger” applies to both customer and supplier
  • New version of “Ledger” added to CRM Lite

 

Misc

  • Reversing a voucher will now works with user defined dimensions
